Senior Accountant Jobs – London
Salary: £40,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and location

Attop Group is seeking experienced Senior Accountants for opportunities with businesses across the UK. These roles may suit qualified or part-qualified accounting professionals with strong financial reporting, month-end and management accounting experience.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Manage month-end and year-end processes, including journals and reconciliations
* Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting
* Monitor ledgers, accruals, prepayments and balance-sheet accounts
* Assist with VAT returns, audits and statutory reporting
* Maintain effective financial controls and accounting records
* Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting
* Work with finance colleagues, managers, auditors and other departments
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in a senior accounting or financial accounting role
* AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification, or progress towards one
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation and analytical skills
* Clear communication and the ability to meet reporting deadlines
Salary and benefits
The indicative salary range is £40,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on location, qualifications, sector and responsibilities.
