1. Introduction and acceptance
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.attop.co.uk (the “Website”), operated by ATTOP GROUP LTD (“Attop Group”, “we”, “our” or “us”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website. By using the Website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Website. These Terms apply to visitors, job seekers, candidates, prospective and existing clients, suppliers and other users. Separate written recruitment, staffing, employment or service agreements may also apply to particular relationships and take precedence in respect of their subject matter where expressly agreed.
2. Company and contact details
ATTOP GROUP LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09943794. Registered office: 65 Broadway, London, E15 4BQ, United Kingdom. General enquiries and notices relating to Website use may be sent to info@attop.co.uk. Our registered office is not necessarily a walk-in office or location for interviews; please arrange appointments in advance.
3. Purpose and scope of the Website
The Website provides information about Attop Group, recruitment and staffing services, employment opportunities and ways to contact us. Our services may include permanent recruitment, temporary staffing, contract recruitment, candidate sourcing and workforce solutions. The Website is intended principally for users in the United Kingdom. Information on the Website is general and does not itself constitute a binding offer of employment, an offer to supply workers, or professional legal, immigration, tax or financial advice.
4. Recruitment sectors
Our Website may describe services in Legal; Engineering & Manufacturing; IT & Technology; Security; Joinery & Woodworking; Finance & Professional Services; Renewable Energy; Warehousing & Logistics; Skilled Trades; Sales & Commercial; Driving & Transport; and Hospitality recruitment. Sector descriptions indicate areas in which we may provide services and do not guarantee that a particular vacancy, worker, licence, placement or specialist service is available at any given time.
5. Eligibility and lawful use
You must use the Website only for lawful purposes. If you submit information on behalf of an organisation, you must have authority to do so. Users under 18 should only submit information where lawful and appropriate to their circumstances. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws when using the Website and must not misrepresent your identity, professional qualifications, eligibility to work, or authority to act for another person.
6. Website availability and changes
We aim to keep the Website available and accurate, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, technical faults or reasons beyond our control. We may amend, suspend, withdraw or restrict any part of the Website without notice where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Website will be error-free. We may change the content, structure, features or services described on the Website.
7. Accuracy of Website information
We take reasonable care in preparing Website content, but information may be incomplete, out of date or subject to change. Any descriptions of vacancies, salary ranges, locations, start dates, assignment durations or client requirements are indicative unless separately confirmed. Users should verify material details directly with us before relying on them. Nothing on the Website guarantees the accuracy of third-party information or the availability of any opportunity.
8. Job advertisements and vacancies
Vacancies may be advertised on behalf of clients or for Attop Group’s own recruitment needs. Advertisements may be withdrawn, filled, revised or paused without notice. An advertised position does not guarantee an interview, placement, assignment or offer. Salary, hourly rate, shift patterns, location, working arrangements and eligibility requirements are subject to confirmation and any applicable written terms. We seek to comply with applicable employment agency legislation, including relevant advertising and work-finding requirements.
9. Candidate applications and registration
By submitting an application or registering interest, you confirm that information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to provide it. You should keep your contact details and availability current. We may ask for further information to assess suitability, verify qualifications or satisfy lawful recruitment requirements. Submission does not establish an employment relationship or oblige Attop Group to find you work. We may contact you about your application and relevant opportunities as described in our Privacy Notice.
10. CVs and document uploads
You must have the right to submit any CV, portfolio, certificate, photograph or other document uploaded to the Website. Do not submit false, misleading, unlawful, malicious or third-party confidential material without authority. Upload only documents requested for the relevant purpose and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information. We may reject or remove uploads that breach these Terms, present a security risk or are not relevant to a legitimate recruitment purpose. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Notice.
11. Right-to-work, licences and verification
Certain roles require evidence of identity, legal permission to work, professional qualifications, driving entitlements, CSCS or SIA licences, training, references or role-specific screening. Such checks will be undertaken where necessary and lawful, and may be required before placement or assignment. You must not claim to hold a qualification, licence or right to work that you do not possess. Where checks are required, successful submission of an application alone does not mean you are cleared to work.
12. Security and regulated roles
Security recruitment and certain regulated roles may involve additional legal, client or industry requirements, including SIA licence verification and proportionate screening. References to standards such as BS 7858 do not mean that every applicant or role is subject to the same checks. Any screening is subject to applicable law, the relevant position and our documented processes. We do not guarantee that an applicant will meet a particular employer’s screening or licensing requirements.
13. Employer and client enquiries
Employers may submit enquiries about permanent, temporary or contract staffing. An enquiry, request for a quotation or discussion of candidate availability does not itself create a binding contract. Supply arrangements, fees, replacement provisions, payment terms, responsibility for workers and other commercial conditions are governed by separately agreed Terms of Business or other written agreements. Clients should not rely on Website descriptions as a substitute for those agreements.
14. No prohibited work-seeker fees
Attop Group will comply with applicable UK rules governing fees charged to work seekers, including the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. We will not charge prohibited fees for work-finding services. Where any distinct, legally permitted optional service is offered, its nature and terms will be clearly explained in advance.
15. Temporary work and assignment arrangements
Temporary workers and contractors may be required to enter into separate terms and receive assignment information, key information documents or other statutory documents where applicable. Website content is not a contract of employment, contract for services or assignment confirmation. Specific pay rates, working time, holiday entitlements, employment status, reporting lines and other rights and obligations depend on applicable law and the written arrangements issued for the engagement.
16. Equality, diversity and fair treatment
We aim to support fair and inclusive recruitment and to comply with applicable equality legislation. Applicants and clients must not use the Website to submit unlawful discriminatory requests, harass others or engage in prohibited conduct. We may decline to process requests or content that appear unlawful or inconsistent with our legal obligations. Requests for reasonable adjustments may be made using our published contact details.
17. User conduct and prohibited activities
You must not: interfere with the Website or its security; introduce malware or malicious code; attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data; scrape or harvest personal information without permission or lawful justification; overload or disrupt services; impersonate another person; upload unlawful, defamatory or infringing material; misuse enquiry forms for spam; or use Website content to mislead candidates or employers. We may restrict access and take appropriate action where misuse is suspected.
18. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, Website text, branding, design, graphics, layout and other content are owned by or licensed to Attop Group and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business reference, provided notices are preserved. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from substantial Website content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
19. Trademarks and branding
Attop Group names, logos, marks and branding must not be used in a manner suggesting endorsement, affiliation or authorisation without our written permission. Third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. A reference to a company, product or platform does not imply an endorsement or partnership unless expressly stated.
20. Content submitted by users
You retain ownership of material you lawfully submit. By providing content to us, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to use, store, review and share it as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry or provide the requested recruitment service, subject to applicable privacy law and any separate agreements. You confirm that your submission does not unlawfully infringe third-party rights. This clause does not override your statutory data protection rights.
21. Third-party websites and services
The Website may link to external job boards, social networks, client websites, mapping services or other third-party platforms. Such links are provided for convenience and do not imply that we control or endorse their content, security or practices. External sites have their own terms and privacy policies. You access them at your own discretion, and we are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions to the extent permitted by law.
22. Privacy and personal data
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable data protection law. The Privacy Notice explains the categories of information we collect, our purposes and lawful bases, recipients, retention practices and your rights. Where personal information is provided through contact forms, job applications or recruitment processes, the relevant privacy information applies. These Terms do not replace or limit rights under UK GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018.
23. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our Website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, where configured, analytics, personalisation and advertising. Our separate Cookie Policy explains the technologies used and relevant choices. Where consent is legally required, non-essential tracking will be controlled by our cookie consent mechanism. Visitors may manage relevant choices through Cookie Settings, subject to any applicable statutory exceptions.
24. Electronic communications
If you contact us electronically, we may respond by email or telephone using the information supplied. Please do not send passwords, unnecessary financial details or highly sensitive documents through general enquiry forms. Electronic communications may not always be secure or immediately delivered. We do not accept contractual notices solely because they were submitted through a general Website form unless the relevant agreement expressly allows this.
25. Security and malicious use
We use appropriate measures intended to protect the Website, but cannot guarantee that it is free from vulnerabilities or malicious content at all times. You should use current security software and exercise caution when opening links or files. You must not attempt to test, bypass or exploit Website security without written authorisation. Suspected security issues may be reported to info@attop.co.uk.
26. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its general information are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every item of content is complete, continuously accurate or suitable for your particular needs. No representation on the Website constitutes a guarantee of employment, business results, candidate availability, uninterrupted service or specific recruitment outcomes. This clause does not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
27. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to those protections and applicable consumer rights, we are not liable for losses arising solely from reliance on general Website content where such reliance is unreasonable, or for disruptions beyond our reasonable control. Any contractual liability for recruitment or staffing services is governed by the applicable written agreement and mandatory law. These Terms do not deprive consumers of statutory rights.
28. Indemnity and responsibility for misuse
You are responsible for your own unlawful or unauthorised use of the Website. Where permitted by law, a business user may be responsible for reasonable losses directly caused by its deliberate or material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable legal principles. Nothing in this section requires a consumer to compensate us beyond what the law permits or removes any statutory protection.
29. Suspension or restriction of access
We may suspend, restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect Website security, comply with law, investigate suspected abuse or prevent harm to other users. We may remove unlawful or inappropriate material submitted through Website features. Where practical and appropriate, we may provide information about the reason for a restriction. Restriction of Website access does not automatically terminate a separately agreed recruitment or employment contract.
30. Complaints and concerns
If you have a complaint about Website content or functionality, contact info@attop.co.uk with relevant details. Complaints concerning personal information may be raised under our Privacy Notice, and individuals may also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. Complaints about employment or recruitment services may be subject to additional contractual, statutory or regulatory procedures. We will consider concerns reasonably and in accordance with applicable obligations.
31. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, our services or applicable law. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Your continued use after publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent legally permitted. Material changes to an existing contractual relationship will be handled under the applicable agreement and law; merely changing this page will not retrospectively alter a separately signed contract.
32. Severability and waiver
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply so far as legally possible. Our failure or delay to enforce a provision does not amount to a waiver of our rights. Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
33. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to mandatory statutory protections, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes arising from Website use. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, applicable mandatory rights concerning where proceedings may be brought remain unaffected.
